This bit has solid curb shanks with a sweet iron high port mouth and copper roller.

This is a basic Western curb with leverage action on the poll, and pallet pressure when the bit is full engaged. Horses tend to like the flavor of the sweet iron, and the copper roller may encourage the horse to mouth the bit.
